    I don’t know if the large black birds in my area are crows but these girls could definitely ride them.

    Funny nobody had thought of it.

    And yeah… we get crows here the size of small ponies… OK, well, they sound that way on my roof… they’re at least a foot long not counting the tail.

    Shygirl…the word “crow” covers a lot of related birds… including ravens, magpies, jackdaws, and some actually called crows…

    In some places it’s even used for blackbirds and other non-crow species.So if it’s a big black bird, usually with a longish pointy beak, (so not a hawk or eagle or toucan) you can call it a crow.
