But I had to go shopping, and then leave it in California…and take the 67 Ballard St. all the way here, cos I’d left Elvis at the salon….he was going to go play with some of Stel’s cars yesterday….

I have to look at something on another strip…but I’ll be back here in a few minutes to check on things and clean the big grinder.

If you see Red, pour him a Glenfiddich on my tab, OK …and tell him I’ll be back to have one with him before I leave…. if he’s got time.

No sign of Red….or Brian, who also comes in lat…

And pcolli’s not here yet…Haven’t seen X in a couple of days..So where are all the night owls?OK, pcolli…. I know you’re not a night owl in your time zone… only when viewed from mine.But it seems like there used to be more conversation and music in the Tiki in the wee hours….

Maybe we’re all just waiting for Spring.

I had a late Skype from my man (favorite kind) but we were talking mostly health related issues (and the mechanics of . . .) but I had marvelous dreams and woke very happy today. We hope to enjoy everything for many more years ;-D

I would never bother w a TV bigger than the 32" in this room (even tho’ a flat screen is easy to move) and if he passed before me or we separated again for some silly reason, I’d just go back to loving from afar as I did for at least 25 years before this time. I will probably get a small bird to take to events tho’ (or take the stuffed Cuddles) just so noone can claim I’m talking to myself. I don’t want her white feathers to get soiled tho’ This was 2008 when the taxidermist had just finished, so I got her back and had just adopted Fitzroy.

Thanks, Stel! Cute little mallards! I’m thinking an albino cockatiel wold be perfect (it has to be smaller than a real cockatoo to be adoptable by other family members) and I really like pure white (even pigeons in the neighborhood, I really allow the one that is pure white). They just LOOK cleaner and fluffier.

As long as I’m planning to travel this much I won’t have a pet at all (nor will he) because it makes things difficult. But just saying – if this good thing also ends, I still have a life (just not a fun one).

I once did some sketches of myself as a Simpson’s character (back in the days of “Murder She Wrote”). An older lady who went everywhere with a white cockatoo and meddled and solved mysteries (with some other features of Edna). I can see that as a mix ;-P
