I had one of those desks too…smashed my finger more than once in the stupid thing. (I’d only had the finger for 7 years and couldn’t remember where it was.) ;-)
I remember those desks too. You had to clear everything off to get inside. What a pain.I liked the desks that I could access from the front. That way I could play with my favorite toy and the teacher couldn’t see.
