Hang tight, Boston. You’ve known rough times in the past, and you’re still here. And you will stay strong. We will pray for you.

Not a good morning in Boston. Did any of you hear about the two bombs that were set off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon yesterday afternoon? About 100 people were injured and I last heard that only one was killed, an 8 year old boy. There are really are lot of people filled with hate to do something like this.

I saw a video of what happened in Boston. It would make one afraid to be in a crowd. In 8 more days I will return to New York until the Fall.

Sorry about those bombings in your area, Woodworker. Who could stoop that low! Sick, is what it is.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I watched some raw video footage of the bombing and its immediate aftermath from The Boston Globe this morning. My first impression was how quickly the first responders went to work. Police, military, civilian helpers, (This was all before fire & paramedics could get there.) it was amazing and very heartening in the face of a real tragedy. Once again, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to first responders.I also read this morning that the injured count is up to more than 170 and the police & FBI are asking for any civilian photos or videos that may help identify who planted the bombs.

A bit cooler here today. Only supposed to be high sixties rather than high eighties. Amazing what a cold low pressure system can do.

I haven’t heard of any claims of responsibility from any group. People are quick to point fingers at the radical Muslims, who have been responsible for most of the terrorisst attacks on our country over the past decade. But I haven’t forgotten that Oklahoma City was purely home grown. Extremists come in many colors.

Rita, I saw a church sign in Wisconsin this afternoon that I think may apply to Montana as well:

“If you are praying for snow, please stop!”
