That Pacific storm went through our area during the night. We only got a “skiff”, enough to coat everything white. But, the higher elevations got tons. You can see the passes on the various web cams. Ole Man Winter just doesn’t want to give up!.
We finished our lettuce and spinach that we grew indoors in a sunny window. And we’ll harvest the red potatoes next week. Can’t wait to see how many and what quality we get. When I saw all that sunlight coming in on the south side of the house, I just couldn’t let it go to waste. So…….
It is pouring down rain and blowing at about 25 mph right now. Not bad for the desert.
Housekeepers are here and the place is beginning to look spiffy again. I usually straighten up the clutter so they can clean and I was surprised how little clutter there was today. I guess old dogs CAN learn new tricks.
I’m trying to copy a documentary about the restoration of the ballet “Rite of Spring” by Stravinsky (the music as well as the choreography, costumes and scenery is awesome!). But I keep getting “Not allowed to be copied.” So, I’m copying it anyway, 7 minutes at a time before the block comes up again. I really want this is my DVD collection.
