Actually Night, Paul is correct. Whole milk is 4% butterfat, “reduced” is 2%, “low” is 1% and skim is fat free. Even heavy cream is only 10% butterfat. 47% would be closing in on butter.

Where I used to live, in Hillbillyville, I actually heard a couple arguing over the price of milk, “Why would I pay $2.50 for a gallon of 2%, when whole milk is only $2.75? We can water it down ourselves!”

Trying to explain why there really isn’t 47% milk is sort of like questioning why is Snoopy trying to pilot his doghouse when it obviously isn’t capable of flight. Both are obvious, but aren’t really germane to the joke.
You can argue that the comic isn’t funny and the fact that the character wants 47% milk to begin with does make him stupid. But lots of time, people being stupid is funny. This time it didn’t work for you, but it got a smile out of me.
The real question for me is – why do people continue to think that 1% and 2% milk are healthier when the label shows it contains so many unpronounceable chemical ingredients.
When you see a label that says “low fat” or “non-fat” – think ’chemical shit storm".

And do I have to mention that soy milk isn’t real milk, because there are no soy breasts?
