From what I hear, freshman and sophomore years at college have become remedial high school. Not surprising, considering that a student can graduate from high school nearly illiterate. And of course, now an advanced degree is worth what a bachelor’s degree was years ago.

Get a degree in air conditioner repair; you’ll make a lot more money and 1/10th the student loan.

She offer’s good advice, but no bottom line. The diploma still does not guarantee a job if you haven’t learned how to get along in kindergarten.

Oh please, blame it on the school system, and not the parents. Give me some parents who actually care and push their kids to work and learn, and it doesn’t matter where you send those kids to school because they will do well.
