Good morning, Vagabonds. We play a variant of Bingo: Not onl do we put a quarter per game in the pot, but we put a dime in a special pot for whoever makes “4 corners.” I didn’t win a single Bingo game last night, but twice I go the “four corners.”

We need a new Bingo set because 4 balls are missing. We tried buying a set at K-Mart and Target, but the balls jump out of the cage when we try to use them. I was thinking of just getting the 4 balls we need from a mail-order company, but everyone thinks the company will charge us an arm and a leg and we may as well buy a new set. The old cage works well. I tried to google "Bingo Supplies but nothing came up. Anyone has any suggestions?

Rita, in today’s “Dear Abby,” someone in Montana is complaining that her mother-in-law wants to dress the letter writer’s husband in her deceased husband’s clothes or she’ll throw a tantrum. I hope she’s not a neighbor of yours!

Morning, Village.Probably be a good idea for mother-in-law to bow out and let the woman deal with her situation in her own way.

    Good Morning, Villagers,

Hope everyone is doing well. Arye, any more pains from your fall? And, Jan, have you had a chance to just “rest”?

Didn’t hear about anyone I know passing away, so I guess that poor gal in Montana has to suffer alone. I had a great Mother-in-Law. Unfortunately she has been gone for 37 years. But, she was a real great woman!!!!

@Arye: Did you try the new balls to see if they worked in the old cage? If they do then that will save you a lot of trouble.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Thank you for your concern, Rita. Yes, I spent most of yesterday just sitting and resting and plan to do the same today. I did find out that a glass of wine is the best cough suppressant there is.

Temp was in the upper 70’s yesterday. Beautiful day. Too bad I had to stay inside.

I do look forward to DST. It means I get to things on the ‘netan hour earlier. After what I read in yesterday’s paper, I don’t know if I will even be here nymore. Low income public housing residents will be high on the chopping block here in Tucson.
