Cats have a way… of taking over. It’s their nature.

Time to remove this one from my list for a month or two, then I can check back and see if we’re back to Dog eat Doug or if we’re still in the Garfield brothers.

My dog would enjoy seeing a tableau like the one in the last panel - of course that’s because she would be thinking- Yum! Lunch! Wonder what Sophie will think.

Love the laid-back Southern hospitality and welcome. Little limp beauties. Maybe Hobo and Cheese will assimilate the Southern ’tude. Fun stuff.

Quit complaining about the cats. I had stopped reading it and decided to give it another chance. The addition of the cats decided me to keep reading. Though I agree it may need to be renamed. I’d like to see more interaction between Sophie and the cats.

The cats are what got me hooked on this strip. .…as my profile photo might indicate.

And I’m grateful that they’re presented as articulate, rather than speaking “Lolcat.”

I think the whole strip is fantastic Brian. It always takes getting used to new characters, but all classic strips evolve to include new characters. That’s how they stay fresh over the years.I love cats, but I grew to love Sophie after a few reads. Pets are just plain lovable.

Being from Georgia, I can only imagine one of the “family” saying, “well, lookie wut the dawg dragged back.”
