Been celebrating (alone). My wallet is back where it belongs. In my pocket.Been toasting the return with Dos Equis cervasa. Two bottles and I’m feeling it. Guess i’m just a cheap drunk.
Good morning Gang..Snowing down south, but not expected here in the north..Remember the Alamo, remember the Maine, remember Pearl Harbor all good calls to arms to bring our people together..Well got’a go..ttfn
It’s RAINING! After almost a week of mid to upper 70’s, the skies have opened up again. I guess Nevada is like most places, “if you don’t like the weather, wait a while”.
Good morning people.dkram: You aren’t kidding when you say it’s snowing down south. The storm is winding down but has left 8" of snow in Boston. I live about 15 miles south of downtown Boston and we have at least 8" to 12" with drifts of three feet. It was only supposed to be rain, but that’s how New England is. We had wind gusts of up to 60 mph. When it calms down I will go out and snow blow the driveway and walks. That will take the place of me going to the gym today. Hope this is the last one for the season. I’m just glad I don’t live down at the beach. Some places people have lost their houses as they got washed into the ocan.
Wow….woodworker, you sure have had your share of bad weather this year! When we had “Sandy”, we had 2 days of heavy winds, and that’s when we got the inch of snow, and the ski resort got 8 inches. The wind was the worst. Everything is dry again. I love Spring! We’re going to be in the 50’s for the next week or so!! Whoopee!!!
I’ve been going through some old cookbooks. These are about 10 to 50 years old. I can’t believe how much I have learned about cooking since I bought them. I used to “flag” the recipes that I wanted to try, so I checked them all out. Well, they sound so lame compared to what I’m making now, thanks to the Food Network! If I was any younger, I would apply for a restaurant chef position. I just love cooking, and experimenting. (never trust a skinny chef)! Now, I will probably donate these cookbooks as I use the internet for recipes.
