Wish I could get rid of stuff. I am almost as bad as Cathy. I don’t have a problem getting rid of clothes but eliminating electronic stuff is a real problem for me. I still have the first microcomputer (working) that I built and programmed for a retail store way back in 1978.
Finally got caught up with Cathy and the Clan. Seems that when I take a week off there is 3 weeks worth of work waiting for me when I get back. Our annual production was a great success. One of the better shows we have produced in that past few years – at least that is what many people in our audience are telling us. Had a lot of fun and even dropped a few pounds – something about the lighting booth being at one end of the auditorium and the stage being at the other with many steps (both the walking and climbing kind) between them. We have already started planning next year’s show so we can keep the tradition going – our first production was in 1973.
I am trying to get rid of things, just need to get the free time to do it. Always seems to be something going on. My problem items are probably papers and clothes. While I understand the concept of get rid of it if you haven’t worn it, I am right in the middle of two sizes, and with occasionally gaining some weight, I need to keep the larger size around. Also, I mostly wear nice t-shirts and jeans, but need to keep dresses and nicer outfits around because I wear them every so often and I hate shopping for something I’ve already bought once.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Yes, Sis I did enjoy the free time I had on Sunday, thanks! Although the past two days have reversed the relaxation that I got… We replaced our roof and that took two days, when it should have taken one. And today we found 6 pinhole leaks in pipes in our basement. Always something… :-( Anyway, I hope you all had a great day!
I’m the same lightenup…have trouble getting rid of clothes…need the work wardrobe, the dress-up wardrobe, the casual wardrobe, the house-cleaning wardrobe…and living in the north, I need the winter/summer wardrobes for all of the above.
