Actually, I think the dress Cathy’s trying on is very pretty and absolutely perfect for Spring. She apparently doesn’t seem to like it very much but I wouldn’t mind in the least having that cute little outfit for myself! ;-)
P.S.: Unless I worked in an office that positively insisted I wear such constricting business suits like those shown here, I’d much rather wear clothes like the purple one with its pretty matching sweater. It’s still dressy enough for the office, but it’s a lot more comfortable to sit and move around in than the others would be.

Current status report: hubby has started working on the garage while I’m working in my office. It’s slow-going but we’re getting there. Have a great week everyone and I’ll “drop by” again as soon as I get an opportunity if only to just say hello! :-)
I’ve been working from home for the last 15 years. It can get lonely, but on the whole I never want to have to go into an office again. And I certainly don’t have the clothes for it anymore!
I like the purple dress too! My only objection to office wear are things that are either way too casual and/or inappropriate. I don’t think beachwear is appropriate, nor outfits that someone would wear to a club (too skimpy or flashy), etc. As long as it looks respectable and business appropriate, that’s fine.

Yup!! Happy Birthday to Jr. today, lightenup!! I too, prefer the purple dress & sweater combo…partly because I prefer the longer skirts.
