Cathy is a control freak! If her hubby were to load the dishwasher she’d be following behind him redoing it so it was “right”. This is why so many kids never learn to do chores—their parents think it’s easier to do it themselves than teaching the kids how to do things .
Well, she brings this stress onto herself then. While there are some things I do myself to make sure it’s done quickly and correctly, I’d love help with most of it and happily accept any offers of help (which there are usually not many).
Hello Cathy friends! I haven’t posted in a while… Last week, one of my elderly cats started acting up and peeing on the bed. So most of my days were spent cleaning, taking her to the vet, and losing my mind. Then we took a quick trip to Miami over the weekend while my girls have a break. Now I’m back and mostly caught up. I hope everyone is doing well!! Sis, I’m really happy your sweet dog is doing better! I wish I had a quick fix for my cat, but I think it’s a mix of crankiness and geriatric issues, so I think it’ll be a difficult one to resolve. I’m glad your baby is doing well though!! <3 And I hope you’re having a good trip with your in-laws! QuietStorm, sounds like you had a good weekend and Valentine’s with your family! I hope your teachers aren’t overwhelming you with too much homework! Hang in there!!
Before I forget, I do have some good news… Jr got accepted to 2 high school STEM programs! We’re very proud of her! Now just to decide which one she will go to (I like one, she likes the other. :-)) Congratulations to my girl and all her hard work!
