I’m so glad I watched most of this madness, rather than participated in it. Seemed a bit over the top at the time..Hello Cathy friends! Our AC was fixed yesterday, but it almost wasn’t. The guy came, looked at it and said a motor was broken, so we’d need a new one. Unfortunately there wasn’t one in Madrid (the largest city in Spain!), so it would take 3 days to get another one. 3 days, when I can take a train from Madrid to Barcelona in 2.5 hours. Even if it’s coming from another country, it can be overnighted when it’s close to 100 degrees outside. Or… we can suggest that they take the part from another house in the same complex where no one else lives and use that one. So that’s what they did and we have AC! This is why I emphasize to my kids that using logic and sense is just as important as being intelligent..Tomorrow is Graduation Day for Lil! Then 1 more day of school after that. Phew… QuietStorm, I know… I feel like we are the last ones that I know who are still in school. It’s so painful. We will be thrilled to get back to the August-May schedule next year.
