Cathy: I reject you. I reject all of you. All 50,000 of you in town. All 50 million of you online. I'm engaged! Hah! I am loved! You don't matter to me anymore! My ego will never again be squashed by one of you miserable tourniquets...and nothing anyone can say will change it!! Charlene: Honeymoon on the beach. Cathy:...Rats. Here we go again. Charlene: Except, I'm guessing, this will be even worse. Saleswoman: Clear the fitting rooms! Bride-to-be heading through swimwear!!

Sigh… getting engaged should have nothing to do with your self-image, but I guess to Cathy, it does. She should just relax (engaged or not) and go enjoy the beach or pool and not worry about how she looks in a swimsuit. But, I know, I know, this is our dear Cathy and that will NEVER happen!.Hello Cathy friends! Another “fun” day yesterday… one of our cats was throwing up all day to the point where she wasn’t even throwing up food, just clear liquid. So we took her to the vet at 11pm and found out that she has a 4cm blockage in her intestine which required surgery. Poor thing seems to be better (still at the vet), but it was scary last night. Lil seems to be better. She started putting weight on her foot yesterday and was wobbly for a while, but seems to be fine in general. I just keep praying that it really is a sprain and not a fracture. Kids mostly don’t get sprains and a fracture that doesn’t heal properly would be regrettable.

This one seemed like a classic case of “Nanny-nanny-boo-boo” … until the last panel. Then the AACK struck.

And yet another one of Cathy’s obsessions I’ve never been able to understand . . . at all. Why can’t she just wear one of the hun-dred other bathing suits she already owns? Yes, I know she’s planning on going to a beach on her honeymoon, but surely she has something that not only still fits, but is also something Irving has never seen her in before? I’ve owned the same 3 swimsuits for I don’t know how many years now. Let’s face it: Cathy doesn’t wear hers to go into the pool (or ocean) anymore than I do mine so it’s not like they’re worn out from all the chlorine (or salt) and needs replacing because of that. Seems like nothing but a huge waste of time and money to go out and buy something she doesn’t really need when she’s already got plenty of the exact same thing at home right now . . . taking up valuable drawer / closet space she can ill afford to spare as it is due to her ridicu-lous shopping addiction. (But then, maybe that’s just me!)
Hi, rgcviper!
hawgowar: That was such a sweet story yesterday regarding your wife, daughters and the wedding dress. It made me tear up a little bit just reading it. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! ♥
lightenup: Sorry about your sweet kitty. I hope she’ll be okay. Regarding Lil: it definitely doesn’t sound like a fracture to me if she’s able to put a little bit of weight on it so soon after her acci-dent happened, but I’m worried that if she does too much too soon, she’s going to make it worse before it has a chance to get better. I know trying to keep an impatient, energetic kid down is like trying to catch a rainbow in your hands. ;-) But I’m hoping she recognizes the wisdom in taking things as easy as possible until her ankle is a lot more healed than it is right now so that she doesn’t suffer worse problems where it’s concerned further down the road. We all care about her here and don’t want to see any-thing bad like that ever happen to her. :-(
Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone’s been having a great Memorial Day weekend so far! :-)
