At MCRD Officer Club Friday night , my Navy aviator stood in awe of a tiny Mexican star. For some crazy reason, she dance with only me. She did not speak English and I did not speak Spanish. I saw her every day until we were married. There were no games like American girls. She just gave me her heart.

I was worst jerk than the above clown.Lisa was breath taking. All the officers at Cubi O Club lusted for her in PI. During the cruise, she was my friend. She caught a young Marine officer. But she didn’t want to talk to me.
Finally, she said I was waiting for you to ask. Heartless, I told her I was too young.
She said come visit me. Sure, I want to get killed by a Marine husband.

Good for Irving! This is one of the things that I’ve always loved about my husband and what first attracted me to him: his complete clarity and no-nonsense way of talking about things. He’s always truthful and tells it like it is [in a very nice way, of course]. What you see is what you get — there are absolutely no games whatsoever where he’s concerned. It’s really a breath of fresh air when it seems like every time you turn around, people are lying to you as easily as they breathe about any and everything . . . even when telling the truth would be easier, faster and less problematic instead.

You went to UM. That was the top school in Michigan. You had big dreams. But for 34 years, your character has been at the mercy of this jerk. I told my 35 year daughter if you have a dream, forget marriage. Because you have to compromise and forget the dream. With kids, that blows it out of the water.
My little girl is not going to let man stand in way. She is charging her through NYC doining art, theather, thai chi and who know what. I think you forgot that. Charging at Life as a woman.
