I remember those makeup kits that came with a fragrance purchase: Estee Lauder, and they still do that. My mom used to want to get me the makeup kit for Christmas, but she didn’t use their perfume. The saleswomen at our old hometown department store in the 1970s (now long gone) knew her and they would always let her make a different purchase of a another product she actually used and then she could get the a makeup. A nice memory…sigh…

And she still bought it? What will she do with it, keep it and then spend more money on another gift? Eyeroll…Hello Cathy clan! Last day without the kiddos. Desperately trying to get things done because it’s so much easier on my own. Will be nice to sleep in and hang out with them though…

Love all the Estee Lauder things. You need a second job to pay for most of it, tho. It’s very pricey.
