Charlene: 1,100 calories for a double cheeseburger deluxe?! Cathy: I never eat the pickle. Charlene: No pickle. Subtract 250 calories. Cathy: I usually leave the last few bites of bun. Charlene: Unfinished bun. Subtract 300 calories. Cathy: Some lettuce always falls out... sesame seeds always drop off... Charlene: 200 calories for a double cheeseburger deluxe!! Cathy: Shall we move on to deep-fried pie? I never touch the crust!

Oh, the “logic” of Cathy is always um, interesting… LOL!Good morning, Cathy clan! Thank you, sis and hendelca! The leaking is stopped, and today the contractor will replace a large section of pipe that looks iffy. The problem is like you said, hendelca, and I’m afraid we may encounter more issues since this is our 3rd pinhole leak in a year. The previous 2 were almost a year ago, so I thought we were okay, but now I’m nervous that we’ll get more problems so we’re considering replacing all of the pipes before damage occurs. Not fun. :-(Hope everyone has a good day! I hope that I’m taking everyone’s bad luck and you all are doing great! :-)

Which is why I swore off fast food a long time ago. Heart disease and Big Macs just don’t go together, unfortunately! :(

It never ceases to amaze me how Cathy’s “logic” can sometimes render me absolutely speechless . . . and believe me when I say that I’m rarely ever at a loss when it comes to saying pretty much anything!!!!! ;-)

Hope life brightens up for you tomorrow, lightenup. Re: Cathy — cutting out the bottom crust allows me to take only half the points at Thanksgiving for a slice of pie — the crust IS the culprit.

lindz.coop and other calorie sensitive people:At a recent catered supper for a concert setup we had crustless pumpkin pie. Awesome taste without the calories (and gluten for those sensitive to it). It looked like a complete pie and cut and served like one too. I don’t have the recipe but I am sure it can be found.
