I’m a pretty open and straightforward person. But my kids can stun even me! Oh, the conversations we’ve had…but they’re educated about their bodies and know how to be smart about protecting themselves, so….yay? L

Sadly, my mom and I never could discuss anything the least bit personal and “embarrassing” — and we still can’t, not even to this day. Anything I needed to know back then, I heard from my friends . . . and everyone knows what a dangerous fountain of MISinformation something like that can be! Thank goodness I’m older and a little bit wiser now . . . and if there’s anything I don’t know [of which there is still PLENTY of]? Well, then, next to my husband, Google is my second best friend!!!!!

Once you’ve had bc, there is no modesty left and you definitely learn to talk about “it.” At the time I had it, I was a college prof and they were bringing in students (aka “voyeurs du jour”) to watch things like radiation setup, etc., while I was just hoping that none of them would be MY students.

Yeah … someone in panel four is a bit dimly lit.

Not to name names, of course. Just sayin’. And as always, that’s why I can’t get enough of her.

    HI, MOM. Greetings, “Cathy” Clan.
