If you don’t anchor that little dinghy, you find yourself adrift ao the sea of stupidity.

Knew a boat in Mamaroneck that named its dinghy “Plop.” Cracked me up every time I saw it.

Years ago, I played a character called The Gripper, in a British Musical Murder Mystery spoof called “Something’s Afoot” in which I sang a song entitled " I’ve Got A Little Dinghy ! ".Memory isn’t as good as it once was ( neither is anything else, for that matter ! ) and I can only partially recall the lyrics. Couldn’t find them on line. Maybe somebody else can. Very funny song and dance number.

Is that an oxymoron again: “humdinger of a dinghy”? Or paronomasia on humDINGer and DINGhy? Or is my problem over-thinking Frog Applause?Which (FA), BTW, welcome back after ever so long an absence!

Such refreshing carbuncles. Tell me, how would you make art out of joyful whipped cream and quolls?

That “hayakume” descends deep into the uncanny valley for me. That’s the kind of image I have nightmares about.

All right. Since you plead so nicely, I’m calling Dinghies Anonymous. ‘Cause I’m so dingy anyway. (Please don’t pronounce it ‘dinj-ee’.)

re: Ian’s hair on the blog. Quaff is a drink. Coif is a hair-do (or in Ian’s case a hair-don’t).

Myiasis, yuck! How could a person wait so long for help. If I couldn’t afford a doctor I’d be scooping them out with whatever I could find.

If “fat is folly,” O Soapmaker, then so’s your business: you need fat to make soap! Must have been a slip of the lipid. (Well, soap is slippery, after all.)
