It’s because for years Al Gore has been preaching his Green Gospel of “oil is evil” – and then he sold his TV network to a middle eastern country whose money comes from oil, and more oil, and still more oil.Al is, in short, a big fat hypocrite. He apparently doesn’t have a problem with oil, as long as it turns into greenbacks for him.

@jack75287i had similiar misgivings about bush and rummy wrt the saudi royal family, and what the hell, the taliban and osama bin laden. only a lot more born people got killed over that.

I fail to see the inflammatory issue.Why not allow dudes to get out of bad businesses? That’s what the USA did with the Mafia and Las Vegas, wasn’t it?I am not stirring, I am suggesting that if their economy can start to run on non-oil revenues, then we’re all better off, aren’t we?BTW, I do get the irony and think that it is a funny gag.
