    Good morning, Vagabonds: yesterday I copied “The basketball Diaries” and “Tea for Two” into DVD.

    The night before last I went to sleep with a bad cold, probably caught from someone on the line at IRS. Yesterday morning aI woke up with the cold gone but still feeling weak. I decided it would be better not to go swimming – the pool water is warm, but getting out of the pool is cold. Instead, I took a little walk and then went to the supermarket and now (at 1:22 AM EST) I’m just finishing up a laundry.

    @Alexikakos: Yes, you are visible.

    Hello every one. I saw where some of you got snow the other day. Now you know how we feel. The latest forecast has us looking at 5 to 10 inches of heavy, wet snow from Sat. night till Sun. afternoon. Why doesn’t it go up to the ski country where they can use it.

    @Alexikakos: Heard that one before.The only difference is I stay home until they are done plowing and I’m not a blond. That’s the joy of being retired.

    nunca he notado antes, pero en inglés es “mutt and jeff”, y en español es “benetín(jeff) y enéas(mutt)”. pues, este es mi observación para hoy….

    Good Morning All,

    Well, I never heard that blonde joke……I thought it was funny.

    Our ski resort is only 13 miles away, but gets about 10 inches of snow to our 1 inch. Don’t mind that a bit! And it makes so many people happy, too. I feel for you, Woodworker!

    My indoor vegetable garden is progressing……..we picked some lettuce last night. It really is much sweeter in the winter growing season! The potatoes are really tall, but I know they’ll need another month or more before we can dig some out. And, I have two flowers budding on the marigolds. Go figure. This is much more fun than just regular house plants.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

    No snow here, but I heard yesterday that Victorville got several inches. I’m not sure whether I’m sorry or glad I left that behind. A few inches can be fun.

    Welcome back, Alex. I’m with Rita, I had not heard your joke before and I thought it was funny. My niece is a blonde and she insists that she’s allowed to tell blonde jokes because of that. She has quite a repertoire. I’ll have to pass this one along to her.

    Arye, since a cold takes a week or so to manifest itself, you probably did pick it up at your first IRS excursion. Take care of yourself my friend.

    To all: Just revised the snow fall, now only 2 to 5 inches. Maybe by the time Sat./Sun. gets here there won’t be any.
