Most likely. Having been there, and done that, I know you are right.

Poor Florrie… I call final demand bills ‘Red Minions’ I know I know… I’m crazy.

I remember a really old strip where Flo is sorting through all of the unpaid bills and says to Andy ‘What are we going to do about this lot?’ and Andy says something about thinking over their ‘unpaid bill’ problem in the pub. Then next you see Flo breaking the fourth wall by saying ‘The power of positive DRINKIN’

    LOL xxx

Sounds like you are referring to the intro theme piece where the blue box is flying through that sort of vortex. You didn’t say how much of the program you looked at. On these shows where it’s YouBoobed in segments.. you usually get a list after the vid stops of other parts to the programme. On the times where I don’t I copy the title line into the YouT.. search box and where it would say “Part 1” I remove the one and put a “2”. Most of the time it comes up. That Dr. Who is probably an hour and a half long all told. One hour to 1 1/2 hours is the usual running time for a Dr. Who episode.

May you have a pleasant Sunday out your way, Number Three.

I didn’t watch the full length episode. Just the part you sent me. It was getting a bit late and I couldn’t watch the rest. But at least I still enjoyed it on my first viewing so I’m sure I’ll enjoy the rest too.

I hope you have a pleasant Sunday also. Are you doing much today?

No need to have deleted. ‘Pop’ seems to be one of those rare words that means the same on both sides of the water. The French probably have an entirely different meaning for it. ^^“Pop” as a word, so far as I know doesn’t exist as a word in French… and if it did, it would have to be spelled “poppe”

Do you say POP or PAHP in the US (probably both)..Thinking of the original (and best) Dr Who theme tune, Delia Derbyshire deserves ultimate credit for its creation. She was the one who cut up all those pieces of tape and spliced them all together. She was part of White Noise (who made “An Electric Storm in Hell”). The other was David Voorhuis.

In “Kebec” French, or France French ? Eet would be Pop-pee, naw !?With your proximity to the “blight to the south”, you must be aware that in some parts of the country, New York for example, we use the word “pop” in referring to carbonated soft drinks. My own best French accent comes courtesy of the pirate guy in the old Cap’n Crunch cereal commercials.^^No, poppee would be pronounced puppay!French, whether From France or from Canada, is pronounced pretty much the same, regional accents, notwithstanding; unlike the difference between American and BBC English, which is quite large. Here in Canada, pop is the only true way to call what most Americans (US) call “soda”As for my “Accent” I don’t have one when speaking English, sorry to disappoint you ;)

Today’s strip seems to be a riff on the Oscar Wilde comment that English fox hunting was a case of “the unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable”.

I agree. After watching your link…I understood what the show is about and I loved it as you know.

I do that thing on Youtube too where I’m watching a show which is in parts… When the part I’m watching finishes… I erase the ‘1’ and replace it with the ‘2’ since what I typed in already remains.

Apart from the ‘unexpected’ things which happened today, I hope you enjoyed your Sunday and I hope tomorrow will be to your liking also.
