The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints utilizes the KJV which also includes a Bible dictionary and topical guide.

Well, King James I ruled England from 1603 to 1625. Thee and thou are the English equivilents of the French tu and toi, or the German du and dein. These are words intimate, used to speak to a dear friend, or between parents and children. Only strangers were addressed as “you”. So, in answer to your question, Yes, they really did say thee and thine when the KJV was translated.

God gave men the ‘inspired words’ then man gave us “religion”

Many translations are done by well-known scholors in the field. the New World translation is done by a group of anonymous self-taught “bible students”, who never studied Hebrew or Aramaic or Greek before.

Really? Which version? I always love the fact that you can just pick and choose what parts to follow and what has been “mistranslated”.
