One thing about the wife leaving to visit mother……clean socks don’t grow in drawers, but green stuff grows in the fridge.

Every year when my wife goes with my daughter’s family on vacation, I tell people “my wife left me.” And see if I get any sympathy. Then I tell them she wiil be back in a week. Boy, do I get funny responses.
People used to ask me if I ever missed my ex-wife. Yup! Once, when she jumped back on the curb too quickly. True story.
Must have felt like a little kid…. all that freedom. Chinese & pizza take out on speed dial.
