    Wouldn’t it be a lot simpler if, say, the sweat from his anxiety dripped onto a sponge, and the weighted sponge threw a scale out of balance, which caused a lighter to ignite, burning a hole through a rope, dropping a piece of cheese in front of a mouse, causing the mouse to run on an exercise wheel, with the turning of that wheel causing a record to turn at low speed on a turntable, the noise from which spooks a dog whose collar is attached to…
