One of my staff gave me the cards to figure out my personality type based on orange, green, blue, gold. She wound being right on the order I picked them. The cards had pictures on the front with the “color” description on the back. (And I didn’t cheat.)

If you can adjust your results after reading the backs, why not read the backs first?

I would have problems choosing because I would be influenced by the color. I’d choose blue but I hate paisley. It would be better if all the samples were in black and white.

The Myers-Briggs test is the only one I know of that’s worth anything, and then, only if you don’t read too much into it. That’s because it’s based on the idea that shy introverts don’t make good sales clerks and so on.

One problem with tests like this is that behaviors can be learned, un-learned and expanded upon. And we sometimes go by our behaviors rather than our personalities. …. Besides…. do you really want everyone at work to really know you?
