Schulz’ winter and snow strips must have been a big influence on Calvin and Hobbes. Hobbes would have done the same thing to Calvin. Heck, Susie would have loved to do it.
Yes, had only Linus been a SMIDGE MORE CAREFUL,so as to make sure there was no “hole” in his fortress, then perhaps Lucy would not have had a chance to be a sly fox, like she is, here. Poor Linus, having had such a BIG sister—he really did have to be careful, and watch out for Lucy, as well as try his best to keep out of her way, on the PERIL of his well-being, so to speak.
