It is suppose to be “a corn-cob pipe”!!! And, yes, I am tired of this series also. Let’s get back to the King, Rodney, the wizard’s brewing pot, or even Blanche.
The really best part of this sequence is that we have not had one single instance of those ridiculous partisan political comments that this strip seems to attract. How refreshing! No politics, no stupid comments about how awful Blanche is, nothing but a bit of whining about a perceived lack of humour — this will do nicely. :)

Ahh… in the UK corn cob refers to both, sort of. just cob is the centre piece…. ahhh you get the drift I won’t go into to describing each bit. ;)
