In my bachelor days, I kept a clean one of those just for vegetable cleaning. I thought it was great. Just spray the potatoes off. Cooking (baking) will take care of the microbes.

BRAIN BLEACH, STAT!! Really, is this guy that stupid that he’d trash a whole pot full of potatoes (and contaminate the pot as well) because he’s ignorant of a toilet cleaning brush!?
