We just rescued a dog from the shelter. I have a hundred pounds of 4 year old slightly used house horse. We have been looking at pictures and trying to determine the breed. Shelter workers lie like used car salesman. Chow mix means Rottweiler.

Nate should agree to accept the fact that his Dad won’t get him a dog because his Dad, by his own words, is then obligated to get him a dog!

My yougest son (21) lost his old dog Sandy this year. Had that dog since he was 10 or so. Called him Sandy because he appeared one morning in my son’s sand box and took up residence. They were best buddies for over 10 years.

Nate is only 11 years old? From the angst he has exihibited about dating and other subjects, I would have figured to be in the 9th grade.

SPCA thought my current dog was a chow mix. Everyone looks at her and says “what a pretty golden retriever.” I’m pretty sure she’s mixed with something, but definitely golden.

Spitzy isn’t his. Nate associates with him because a Spitzy is better than no dog.
