Interesting. If he bought Apple stock in the 1980s, he threw away a lot of opportunities to use that money. If he bought it in the $80 range (in 2006), then he did OK. The best time to buy was 2004.
Bought 2000 shares at 30 back then. Sold it when it trippelled! Thought “woo whoo – good trade!”What? It’s how much now!!??I leave it to the professional now.
