Now if only Obama, the democrats, and liberals would actually take responsibility for being near the cliff, it would be more accurate. 3 years total control of Congress, and they made no attempt to balance the budget and increased spending, and sought new ways to screw Americans over.

The GOP is doomed as long as they see their House majority and Senate filibusters as what tanks them rather than what saves them.

Well you got experience in that area, so I guess you would know when you see it.

Oh, Those sleepless nights. The Right is asking itself, “How do we preserve those tax breaks for the big corporations and the very rich without going on over the cliff?”

LOL, project much? Your obvious hypocrisy, if it wasn’t so tragic, if laughable. You need to go back and do a little more research and reading. Try to read some fact based material, not the echo chamber crap you currently are reading. You may find that previous administrations have had to deal with similar obstructionist games, filibusters, not approving appointments, it’s not unique to any one political party. You are truly a laughable and useful idiot. You may want to look that last term up, may have your profile included.

What displays you and your party as one of the largest groups of hypocrites is how the tune changes when they get into a position of control, the other side needs to compromise their point of view and bow to you. Yet when the opposite party is in control your party uses the same tactics and uses the excuse that they are holding to their “ideals, we will not compromise!”Laughable . . .

The cartoon may be accurate in that if Dems make Republicans take the country over this “cliff”, the Republicans are the party most likely to be blamed, even though both sides created this situation last year and are recreating it this year. That said-This is insane and inane. Small business shopping day is coming up very soon and retailers all over the country are hoping for record sales while local governments are hoping for a big boost in tax revenue from such purchases. Yet here goes our cannibalistic congress, once more putting fear and doubt into the minds of people who want to spend money, but are afraid to do so. These people KNOW how badly income is needed in states and how hard small businesses, REAL small businesses, not multinationals who have found the loopholes making them “small”, are struggling to survive. This is why it is so important to write to you politicians and tell them where you stand on these issues.Saddam Hussein said his people would eat dirt before they surrendered to aggression. He didn’t say HE would eat dirt, he said his people would. Now, we have legislators on both sides of the aisle readly to shovel up loads of dirt in order to protect “Their” positions on issues. They feed us dirt by simply doing nothing. This is dishonorable, unethical, and immoral.Sadly,C.

LOL, again. Never said anything of the like which you, once again, project onto me. Oh, and I’ve have never said I have all the answers, but do know this, you spend more then you have, you are deficit spending. Pretty simple, even for you right? Spend less, use what you have and stop going to the well for more.Stop with the class warfare, stop with the blame game, people who work for a living, make the sacrifice to improve their life, take the risk of investing their money, deserve the rewards they receive. They are the ones taking the risk, not sitting on the sidelines envious of others. Most intelligent people understand the only given in life is eventual death, they understand that you must take risks at times to get ahead. If you want to sit back and let someone else take care of you, then don’t complain when you get less that someone else who does for themselves.Raising taxes will not solve the basic problem, government never solves problems effectively or efficiently. Stop spending what is not there.

Dems DID NOT control both houses for 4 years. It took almost 8 months for Al Franken to get confirmed, then two months later Ted Kennedy died, leaving no filibuster proof majority, then Scott Brown was elected. Considering Senate filibuster rules, NO party CONTROLS Congress unless they have the supermajority to block filibusters. And since Republicans have voted against nominees they have said are qualified, and against bills THEY have co-sponsored, I (dis)respectfully suggest that zoid, ima, D PB etc. actually take some history lessons, or read something other than the Washington Examiner, and listen to something other than Fox (non)NEWS!
