Every year my birthday is the same… I get a year older.

I’ve already given up hope of getting a year younger instead…

Our mythology in this area is a number of carefully culled stories. Mostly, one can’t succeed without doing. But it isn’t always so. And sometimes even diligent, continuing work gets one nothing but diligent, continuing work.

Is this the anniversary of the comic’s debut? That’s how “Garfield” does it.

Agnes can take heart with the thought that even the Statler Brothers had a few disappointments in life, or wrote of thoe of others-“And the class of ‘57 had its dreams,Oh, we all thought we’d change the world with our great words and deeds.Or maybe we just thought the world would change to fit our needs,The class of ’57 had its dreams.”

Happy (or at least Not Sad) Birthday, Agnes!

If she mixes the chip bowl with a fish bowl, will she have a bowl full of fish and chips? (Hiya, SS. Always nice to hear from you.)

Silly me…. I guess I didn’t realise that Agnes’ birthday was today.

I thought she meant it was upcoming…so I’m late in saying it…. but “Happy Birthday, Agnes!”

Just to check, I went back through Nov. 29th in the archives…. quite consistent, it’s always a birthday strip.

I think my favorites are November 29th 2005 and 2009

The archives begin in August 2002.. if that’s the beginning of “Agnes”, her birthday isn’t the strip anniversary.

I answer you pretty often, actually…but I think you never come back to see it.I keep late hours on the West coast so we’re out of sync.

I love Agnes – even more now that I know we share a birthday. Happy birthday to us!
