Why is it wrong to invest in job creating technologies and practices that might reduce the impact of climate change no matter what the cause is?This is akin to scientists saying a meteor is going to hit us in 10 years and people saying, we can’t do anything about it, it’s God’s will, and it will hurt the economy to do something about it.We have already landed a piece of equipment on a passing asteroid. Building rockets that could put another lander on an approaching rock and then, firing the rockets prepared for this event, push it away from us and into orbit around the sun.But you can’t interfere with God’s will that we be struck by a giant rock. You can’t have an unfunded effort to build rockets that could save us. That’s silly.We can save our planet. We can make money doing it. We can have fun doing it.Respectfully,C.
