I heard the new one comes in blue!!!!! My IPad 1 works fine for what I use it for. They are good at marketing though and at least it’s an American company.

I’m writing not long after the Windows 8 launch. If you want to see why Apple is so strong, look at the video of Balmer and crew not-showing there advantage or even their own product, and you will see clearly why Apple is the world’s biggest company.
