Don’t let the critics win…

OMG! That is one strange image of Monty in panel 1.

Actually, I thought E.B. was cuter till Meddick changed his face a couple of months or so ago.

Nobody seemed to notice, so I didn’t say anything…. but his eyes are bigger now, and sit higher.

Eldo…. like Snoopy Loopies?

I thought Monty was doing a pretty good Snoopy impression in panel 1. Moondog should not be speaking either for Meddick or for us; what does he know?

Eldo and Pacopuddy… it’s so hard to explain…

The arcs change all the time, and there’s no search function, so it was hard to find good ones of EB I could link to.

I had to use a couple of older strips I had saved, and make a little comparison picture.

The problem with the one you showed, Eldo, is that he’s lying on his back, so he looks almost the same.

But facing you, his eyes now are bigger and sitting on top of his head, like a sea creature.

With lower and smaller eyes, he had more of a “cute” cartoony look.

I guess they’re not bigger, exactly, now…. just kind of longer, but somehow it just looks less sweet, to me.

Maybe I’m alone in that.

Don’t know about anyone else but I think I’ll have some Beagle Loops for breakfast.ƹʅɗʘ, which shelf are they on? And…Got milk?

Not caring what other people think is also helpful. It’s not like Moondog can’t look at something else if he doesn’t like it.

Is Monty gay or something?

I like him better this way, It’s not that that big a deal to me.

Monty was just trying to follow the instructions he read somewhere…… “Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening.”
