Romney’s done a pretty good job of saying that there are some things he just won’t talk about. Bain is one of them. People don’t care. He’s not Obama; that’s what they care about.

Too little, too late, unfortunately. This all happened when Mitt was sole owner / but-not-involved-in-day-to-day-operations at Bain

So 3 1/2 years ago the jobs were here and since then Obama has forced them overseas? Maybe that explains executive compensation and the Dow average in the same time frame.

seems to me that if business owners were taxed, they’d be motivated to invest more into the business (than their own pockets) which would create more jobs…. isn’t that why Ike taxed the richest at 90%?

What policies of Obama killed jobs? You don’t know what you’re talking about. The only possible item is the Oil pipeline which has been delayed until the various states approve the route.

The Keystone pipeline is another big lie. Romney stated it would create “millions of jobs”. In reality, there would be closer to 1000 jobs temporarily created for construction, probably mostly Canadian. Once the pipeline is completed, there should be a few hundred jobs centering around maintenance and accident prevention/repair, but there probably won’t be because that would be “job-killing regulations”. No worries; it will just spill into the midwest’s biggest aquifer. No problem: we haven’t had any drought in the midwest…..ever. And, of course, that oil will be refined in Texas and sent to China. What a wonderful project. Worth trashing the US’s credit rating to try to create, wouldn’t you think?

So sad that during a time when America’s infrastructure desperately needs to be repaired and politicians refuse to do anything, claiming that such make-work assignments would be “socialism”.

Everyone should Google Keystone tar sand pipeline. It’s not your typical oil pump. They have destroyed vast areas of pristine Canadian wilderness….it’s as bad if not worse than Fracking!

While I agree with Darren Blair’s comment about “the great yellow tufted one” being a non topic, I think the cartoon stands on its own. Too many corporations have sent too many jobs overseas and across borders ruining our tax base and causing remaining businesses to cut staff, pay, and/or benefits. Tax breaks helping these corps. move jobs overseas are so much NOT in the best interest of our nation as to be nearly treasonous. I’m sure China loves having our best minds send diagrams for hardware and info for software-such as the iphone and ipad- they can use in their own inventions and products, and lacking the restrictive patent laws we have here, are in full research mode to improve them. Companies who ship jobs overseas definately deserve to get the bird…the bird Danziger draws, not the friendly yellow tufted one.Respectfully,C.
