    Dukakis lives!
And this the closest Romoney has EVER come to actually being in the military!
HOW many “Religious Deferments” did he get during Vietnam?

He got three college deferments and one religious deferment for a total of four.

Point he registered for the draft.
Point he requested deferment and they were granted.
Point he was entered in the lottery right along with the rest of us after he no longer was granted deferment.

Shoot I got 2 deferments before I enlisted.

What were you doing during the “war”?

Is it just me or is Romney ordering two tickets for himself and Ann to the French Open?

R’money the chicken hawk in his Dubya moment, all that’s missing is the Mission Accomplished banner. We don’t need another Neo Nazi poser in the White House getting us into wars we pay for borrowing on the China credit card.

Well good for you. So did I but having been raised on the water – my Pops was a fisherman and fished out of may port your homeport – I opted for the Army.

So were you on board during the tour in the S China Sea? Did you travel the Panama Canal in 1969? If you did then we were in the republic of Panama at the same time since I was stationed at Ft Clayton then on my wat to the RVN.

All that aside dude the fact remains that Romney followed the law in effect at the time unlike some here who hot footed it north of the border.

Nice try Jeffy but it was a DEMOCRAT that made that picture famous. How about show Chairman Obama bowing to the Chinese and begging for more money (he can have in his other hand around the neck of some of our people keeping them quiet).

Why is it that every Republicant who advocates building up the military and going to war when we are not endangered is a draft-avoiding fraud who never served in his country’s military.

Let the other guy do it. Right.

Kill off enough young Americans and the unemployment rate drops dramatically, and social security will last for a few more decades.

Jeff, I assume the tank is going to the left. Why then is the flag wafting to the right?

“I know the President hopes for a safer, freer, and a more prosperous Middle East allied with the United States. I share this hope. But hope is not a strategy. We cannot support our friends and defeat our enemies in the Middle East when our words are not backed up by deeds, when our defense spending is being arbitrarily and deeply cut, when we have no trade agenda to speak of, and the perception of our strategy is not one of partnership, but of passivity. The difference is that Romney was a cheerleader for the war while being a chickenhawk about fighting. He was a cheerleader for later wars while never letting his sons enlist. Obama and Clinton both actively opposed the wars that they weren’t willing to fight in. Obama (being my age) was never subject to the draft, and pursued another way of supporting America.

How do you know what went on in the Romney household? If the sons were of age then Mitt could not prevent them from enlistment if they so desired. AND we have a volunteer armed service so you have no point at all.
