A few years back, when my current dog was just over a year old, the people down the street put out one of those animated treasure chests. Every now and then it would open and a skeleton would come out, then it would close again. Curious pup saw something new and went to check it out just as it opened. She yelped and ran to hide behind me (my big brave protector)!They put the same thing out every year. Dog (now just over 5) still won’t go near it.
