@Guy GilchristThis one reminds me of the short story ‘Toba Tek Singh’ by the Indian writer Saadat Hasan Manto. He wrote about the Partition of India into Pakistan by the Muslim League and about all the violence, anger and misery it created.
He’s incredible. You should look him up and read him. And so should everyone who reads today’s strip.

As I recall this gag has been used by Mad, Beetle Bailey, Mutt/Jeff and a few others. Always a good laugh.
