Ok, first off, this is not the comic that was sent to my emil box today, why am i 5 days behind?

Secondly, I subscribed b/c this had promise with some funny plot line (that i just came on the end of) about the mother pretending to be satan for some reason to make the daughter crazy (?) but since then, it hasnt really lived up to that status level. Sorry to complain, just explaining why im unsubscribing. Also, the art work is good, but quite often its not legible enough to tell what is really going on (mostly in the back ground) like it was done in pencil and didnt transfer well.

I think this comic has a lot of promise and potential, but i subscribe to quite a few and i need to make cut backs for time reasons. Im just not "feeling’ this one. maybe check back later.I can only suggest draw darker, and dont focus so much on the crazy mother plot, its way over done.

It IS in reruns – again – and it’s good so I come back again and again. The creator went on to other things, things that some say aren’t as good as Barkeater Lake.I didn’t like the mother/satan story but that’s a very short part of all that goes on with Chuck, Banks and bacon here on ‘the lake.’
