You know… just because he wasn’t “all there”, doesn’t mean he didn’t contribute to the society. He attended town meetings, he regularly conversed with the town folks thereby providing companionship to folks who may have just needed someone to talk to, or be around. He wasn’t destructive. So his contributions weren’t tax dollars or a “normal” conversation. He was still a part of the society and added to it.
