Biden says stuff that’s sometimes embarrassing or amusing. I haven’t heard him say stuff that’s actually damaging to America’s position in the world. (Did you see where Putin thanked Romney this week for calling him the “number one political foe” because it proves Putin’s point about protesting America’s missile defenses in Poland?)

I have been watching the back-and-forth here and other places for months. I cannot remember anyone saying that he/she thinks Romney would be a good president. I have yet to read where a person thinks Romney’s plans would be good for America, the world, or even just the writer. It appears that all Romney supporters support him because he’s not Barack Obama. Neither am I. Should you vote for me?

I agree. Then I must wonder why, really. The r/w nattering nabobs of negativism then accuse President Obama of continuing the policies of shrubster & cheney, but are unhappy about that. There really is only one thing I can think of that sets him apart from the rich or white crowd. How many times can the r/w cry and point while shouting kenyan and fake birth certificate without meaning something else?—There is nothing good for Americans in electing mittens and lyan ryan. Even the r/w know that.

Defending “freedom of speech” does NOT mean you have to defend STUPIDITY! It IS possible to condemn the “message” and still not shoot the messenger.

Zit says, “Like you America flee folks attack Bush.” Hmmm, can anyone explain the grammatical construction of that sentence?

No, it’s not an English class, but a certain minimal command of the language does assist communication. If you had ever paid attention in class, you might have learned to write a little better.

What’s relevant is communication. Grammar is thought. If you put the words together incorrectly, then it’s hard for anyone reading what you wrote to know what you mean. For example, in the post I’m replying to, you didn’t include a subject pronoun, so at first I thought you were writing an imperative rather than a statement — as if you had written something like “Now don’t go and think that….” and it took me a minute to figure out what you really wanted to say. Your previous post, about American folks and fleas, I still don’t understand. I don’t care about rules for the sake of rules, I care about rules for the sake of understanding.
