90% of Wall St. money goes to Republicants. This ‘toon is BS. Besides since the conservative court said money is free speech the Dems have no choice but to solicit funds. Just look what’s happening in Mass. Elizabeth Warren is being out spent by 10 to 1 and it’s Wall St. money. In Wisconsin, Scott Walker is spending 10 times what the recall effort is spending to get him out. Most of it from outside the state donors, i.e. billionaires.

Are there any Republicans on this board that believe that increasing concentration of wealth is a problem?

Obama attacks capitalists (successful ones) in public and behind scenes takes huge donations from them.

Obama attacks investments made with PRIVATE MONEY while his record is “investing” billions of taxpayer money into failing and bankruptcy “green” companies…..who in turn donate millions to Obama and the Democrats…..it is time for the House to investigate Obama’s crony capitalism Robin Hood policies, IMO.

I really think you need to do some research on where his contributions come from. When Obama goes to NYC, it isn’t the people from Harlem coughing up $35,000 + a plate to sit in a gymnasium and eat bad food and listen to a politician prate.

Chuckle. Democrats arent known for being factual. http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2012/may/24/american-future-fund/american-future-fund-wall-street-obama/
Kind of says it all….American Future Fund says Wall Street “supports President Obama” and funds him like in 2008

It might be a problem but is almost always the lesser of two evils, the other of which is letting thugverment take money at gunpoint to redistribute it, benefitting the thugverment class more than the people it pretends to serve.

I am not sure about the increase in wealth being centered given that tends to happen when the wealthy are taxed more than anyone else. The two trends coincide. I think it is dangerous to have only the top ten percent pay the vast majority in income taxes while so many offer so little. If the taxes were spread out more evenly, the effects and inclusion of government growth would be more clearly felt and democracy in this republic, ie an understanding of cause and effect would be more keenly felt. When you concentrate the payment of taxes, I believe you inevitably concentrate the wealth to those who pay the taxes, the income tax paying class will call the shots, always have since the purse strings are the actual power. Something to consider.
