Still too many “baggers” out there demanding dissent, secession, and other stupidities. It ain’t resolved so long as idiots still can be accepted unchallenged by reality.

That would be the smartest thing the Republicans have done in YEARS!
Why not make a separate “Party” for all the whackos, loonies, nutcases, and hyper-cons, and let them incorporate is a REAL Political party, instead of ruining a once great G.O.P.?

Our first African American president set up a place where those who want to complain can complain. I mean, of course, W. J. Clinton, who claims the honour of being America’s first African American president!

When WJC was president, the White House IT staff set up a system where anyone could write the White House. A modified Eliza program reads the letter. If it seems harmless, Eliza sends a stock reply (’I’m concerned about the deficit.’ ‘Thank you for your letter. President _____ is also concerned about the deficit and is taking steps to address the problem.’)

If it sounds like a threat, Eliza automatically forwards the letter to the Secret Service with the name and address of the sender.

The Office of the President IT services. Serving the voters since 1995.

Well if it was soooo bad why didnt your man GW get rid of it? You know the phrase since 1995 includes 8 years of a Republican White House right? Oh wait I forgot all you right wingers have blocked those years from your memory and anyone who brings them up is unAmerican…

The Republican party is at a crossroads. Either they can lurch further right (because Mr. Romney wasn’t conservative enough), or the Tea Party/Religious Right wing will splinter into its own party. If the former happens, the party will devolve into meaninglessness. If the latter happens, which I think more likely, it will be interesting to see which of their leaders move to which party. And where will Grover Norquist hold sway?

I think there may have been 3 people who attached tea bags to their hats, and they may have looked a little funny, but haven’t we been told not to make fun of people? Further, don’t we know better than to lump a group of people in with a few on their fringes (although this “fringe” with teabags was pretty harmless)? I mean, a few people with what you think is a funny-looking costume, does NOT mean everybody in the group is a nut! I’m talking about bigotry here. You on the left can’t rebut the philosophy of traditional conservatives, so you try to gen up hatred based on 3 people with funny-looking costumes.

If you’re really interested in funny-looking costumes, search youtube with the words “keynesian president” (hint: it’s not related to “Kenya”).

There could be nothing better for America than the GOP continuing to cater to these extremist groups. They will fade away into obscurity and the democratic ideals of the democratic party will prevail. That is the very best thing that could happen.
Go right, young republicans, go right. Right off the political map.

Well Romney actually brought in the gun bans that they accuse Obama of threatening, but hey, we should believe that Romeny is the friend of the gun owner, after all, he shot a bunny.

What really gets me about the “far right” is, they don’t realize they’re already to the right of the SS!

There were considerably more people with tea bags attached to their hats than there are New Black Panthers. I still remember the guy who bought a whole truckload of tea bags and dumped it at the White House “to protest waste.” Though they don’t all wear stupid hats, it remains a very useful symbol in political cartooning for those who irrationally hate government, yet want it to dictate morals to women, minorities, and everyone who doesn’t think like them, and by the way, keep government out of Medicare.

As long as the GOP takes no responsibility for losing this election they will continue to be disconnected from the majority of Americans. They’ll need to replace the elephant with a dinosaur!

“…I’m talking about bigotry here…” YES. Many Toonists and people who use the term ‘Reslugs’ are HATEmongers.
We had an opportunity to discuss two Directions for US and flubbed it:

    • Centralized Decisions by Washington DC Controlled by Lobbists
    • Decentralized Decisions by States Inspired by Problem Solving Options

It’s “Fox” News Canuck. Obviously you don’t know what goes on over there, nor anything else for that matter.
