Cathy: We're not golfers so we'll never understand. It's a perfect Sunday afternoon, why would he want to spend it chasing a little ball?? He has us! He could be walking with us! Playing ball with us! Cathy: We have to just let him have this time. He needs the tranquility. The solitude. The thrill of conquering wide open spaces all alone. But can't you at least take your laptop outside and play your golf computer game on the porch?! Irving: Huh?
Golfers. Does anyone ever really understand them other than other golfers ….. or is it just me who doesn’t get them and their obsession, whether out on an actual coarse or playing a game in front of a computer screen like Irving is today?

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
Hi, QuietStorm27! Happy 16th birthday to your daughter today. Hope she has a really great one! :-)
Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice weekend! :-)
.
This week’s progress report:
1.) The last of the yard sale items were gathered and donated to the couple raising funds for their worthy cause (which was this past weekend; no word yet on how well they did).
2.) More things went on Craig’s List although we’ve gotten almost no response to any of it. The outdoor furniture went like crazy but apparently, no one’s interested in office/desk furniture, bookcases, bar stools, a kitchen table set, stand mixer, etc.
3.) I began packing up my office as well as all my sewing and cross stitch supplies from the storage room. Whew! That’s a real task given I didn’t realize how much stuff I really had until I started doing that! ;-)
4.) My husband pressure washed my mother’s sidewalk, front walkway and the driveway one day, then went and got her a new set of car tires another day.
This coming week: My mother’s car will get serviced, we’ll do all the touch-up painting our idiot painter didn’t do, and we’ll get the weeding done, bushes trimmed and a fresh layer of mulch put down all around the house while the temps. will be in the high 60’s to mid-70’s instead of the high 80’s like it was last week. Still much to do but we’re getting there. I’ll write back again when I can! :-)
