Newlyweds Cathy and Irving navigate the treacherous waters of couple-hood. From pampered pets to prying parents, they’ve got a lot to learn! Wedding or not, it’s still all about Cathy - she personifies the young career woman and her typical daily obstacles. Ice cream, panic attacks, stress and love are all in a day’s work. We read, we identify, we laugh. Who could ask for more?
Cathy is the Everywoman. She deals with diets, self-esteem, in-laws, and letting her husband know that she is the boss. Everyone can identify with her shopping, bills, taxes, planning for the future and coping with her husband’s incessant computer golf games. Whether you are a newlywed, single, or have been married for decades, all will enjoy the daily predicaments of Cathy and Irving.

Cathy, you KNOW you won’t do any of that stuff.
And I don’t blame you; I wouldn’t do them either!
Happy Groundhog’s Day, fellow “Cathy” nuts.

Thanks Susan. Happy weekend all. btw, I admire anyone who can get up early to exercise. Definitely not for me.

I never could get up early in the morning to exercise because I always made excuses like Cathy. I exercise either after I get the kids off to school or in the afternoon.
Hello, nutty Cathy clan!!!
GretchensMom – I’m on Pinterest, but hardly pin anything so I don’t have an answer right now, but maybe can figure it out for you later tonight.

No early morning exercising for me either. Who wants to start off their day with a heart-attack?! Just trying to stay alive as long as I can. (At least, that’s what I tell myself anyhow!)
;-)
Hi, rgcviper!
Hello and Happy Saturday to all my wonderful, nutty “Cathy” friends! Hope it’s going great so far!!!!!
After talking to my daughter earlier today (who’s the one that sent me the Pinterest invite to begin with and is a little more savvy about how it all works than I am), I found out that there isn’t a way to post funny “Cathy” comics full-size on to any of my boards (because they’re just too big), but she did say that by clicking on the image (small though it is), it will come up bigger and easier to read in another window so I gave it a try, and she was absolutely right. While my problem isn’t solved the way I would have liked for it to be solved, at least it works so . . . yea! Thanks to all who responded to my question, even if you weren’t able to really answer it. I very much appreciate it!
kittycatpawsare: Have you ever heard of Pinterest? It’s an online “bulletin board” where people “pin” things of interest to them that they really like and want to share with other people on the internet (sort of like an old-fashioned scrap book or cork bulletin board people use to have back in the “olden days”). It can contain recipes; pictures of dogs, cats, birds, etc., their favorite books, movies or t.v. shows; ideas for their future weddings, nurseries, dream homes; fantasy vacations; hair, nails, clothes, shoes, jewelry desires; craft ideas . . . the possibilities are endless! You don’t need to be a member to look at whatever’s there (I used to go there all the time before I was able to join) but you can’t respond to anyone’s posts nor can you set up your own pin boards unless you’re a member. The best and fastest way to join is for someone who’s already a member to invite you. You can send Pinterest a membership request but I’m not sure how long it would take to get a response back. I LOVE that place but it’s a real “timesucker” so I never go there unless I’ve got plenty of time to spare (because one fascinating board leads you to another . . . and another . . . and another!). If you’re interested and want to take a look at some of the things it’s got to offer, the website address is: Pinterest.com

@GretchensMom
I found this:
“Pinterest images, when clicked on, support a resolution of up to 600 pixels wide (height can be anything). Thumbnails in board-view are 192 pixels wide. Use these dimensions to size your Pinterest optimized images accordingly.”

If you’re on a Mac, you can use the Grab utility which might work.

RIIIIIIGHT, Cathy. Good luck with all that. (I would insert an [eye-roll] here, but at least she has the right idea—in theory, anyway.)
HI, MOM! Happy to hear you’re making progress with Pinterest.
Hello to the awesome “Cathy” Clan. Hope you’re having a nice weekend.

Hi Cathyites!! No early anything for me anymore — I don’t get up early for anything if I can avoid it. I work my exercise into either late morning or early afternoon.
