Willpower? Cathy couldn’t define it in the 20th or 21st century. And “mid-morning” is earlier than lunch in almost any timeline. If it were me, I woulda gone for that cupcake.

Snacking is not for nutrition but for satisfaction! Although Cathy’s nutrition bar has 260 calories of chocolate so I guess it qualifies as a snack.
Kind of early for me today but got a few moments to myself since my two daughters, who are here for the long weekend, went shopping. Never could figure out why they, both of whom live in cities, want to shop here in our small town. Maybe it is because our WalMart is small enough to get around the whole store in a single day.
Happy day before Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadian Cathyites!

Cathy, please stop talking to your food! LOL! Can you imagine working near her and listening to: “NO!”… “NO!” … “NO!” Besides, those bars are so misleading; they’re not good for you at all, just full of sugar and empty calories.

p.s. Here’s to hoping Lil’lightenup feels better soon… She had a 102 fever on Friday and a 101 fever yesterday and in the middle of this past night. They tested her for strep on Friday and it was negative, so it seems to be a mysterious virus. (@Shyygirl – She’s the same age as your daughter. :-))

A busy weekend here . . . got lots of work done yesterday and felt very pleased with myself. But then I didn’t stop for a snack attack!
That’s another advantage of virtual cakes and cookies, of course. Not only are they calorie-free – they don’t take any time to eat, and you don’t have to wash sticky hands afterwards.
Aaron and Billy: I think you should sell a long-term subscription to Cathy. You could make your fortune!
