Cathy: Do I really need it? No. Do I have to have it? No. Is it critical? No. Essential? No. Irreplaceable? No. Did I just buy it? Yes. Another out-of-body experience at the cosmetics counter.
Whoops, I got so carried away with Aaron’s eye (that sounds gross), that I forgot what I wanted to say to lindz.coop…I so agree! Kohls is really guilty of that. I don’t like shopping as it is, so I’ll save it all up for one big trip to get it out of the way. So if I get some of their Kohls cash, I almost never come back to use them. But I was told recently that even if they have an expiration date on them, they’ll still accept them after they “expire”. Gymboree does the same annoying thing, and, like you said, Macy’s is particularly bad also. Their “sales” are ridiculous! On the other hand, JC Penney recently switched to no coupons, which I love. They have regular low prices that include all of the discounts that the coupons used to give. Granted they have monthly sales and a special value on Fridays, but I guess that appeals to those who like the fun of hunting a good deal. Plus I at least appreciate that their sales last all month and I don’t have to rush in there within a week. Yay for JCP!Okay, my rant is done…(p.s. I’ve seen people do the extra small font in their posts. Does anyone know how to do that?)
